A one-of-a-kind circus is dropping by Bristol as part of a smash hit world tour!
Posted on: 12 Sep 2023Taking over The Downs throughout September and October, Circus Extreme’s celebrated show was five years in the making and features some of the world’s most talented performers.
Circus Extreme will run on Durdham Downs, Bristol from this Friday (15 September) to Sunday 8 October 2023.
Europe’s largest touring circus Big Top will host vibrant shows that merge modern and contemporary styles with extreme stunts and classic clowning. Audiences will be amazed by the show stopping production of Circus Extreme, who were subject to an award-winning Amazon Prime series, The Real Greatest Showmen.

One act featured as part of the Circus Extreme show is award-winning high wire act Ayala Troupe, who have performed all over the world as well as being awarded a Guinness World Record for the most skips on a tightrope in one minute.
Also performing is The Danguir Troupe and their double wheel death stunt featuring the world’s first double summersault, never before seen in the UK. Fresh from a European tour, the EXTREME freestyle motocross team will be bringing jaw-dropping stunts with cliff-hanger flair, including the superman and nac nac to name a few.
The EXTREME stunt riding team will also be performing the Globe of Death, the world’s most death-defying act! This stunt will put the performers under intense G-force as they loop vertically and horizontally in a mesh sphere. In another daredevil stunt, Brazilian Super Silva Junior will display incredible agility, trapeze and balancing skills high in the big top roof!
Keeping the audience amused throughout will be the world-famous Henry The Prince of Clowns – a legendary figure in the circus world! He will be joined by British legend Laura Miller, showcasing her world renowned aquatic aerial ring combining the elements of fire, water and air with grace and beauty.
