New auction supporting the South West's hospitality industry begins today
Posted on: 28 Nov 2022Supported by The Source Trade Roadshow, this year’s Hospitality Action: Winter Online Auction will run from today, Monday 28 November, until Monday 12 December.
Hospitality Action’s Winter Auction features a selection of delicious treats, with all proceeds going towards helping hospitality families in crisis.
The South West’s biggest trade show, the Source Roadshow took over Ashton Gate Stadium for the first time in June this year, bringing the best products from around the region to Bristol’s food and drink buyers.

The 2022 Winter Auction sees plenty of money-can’t-buy hospitality delights up for grabs, from exclusive dining experiences in some of the nation’s finest restaurants, to overnight stays, afternoon teas, hampers, or golfing experiences.
Every penny raised from the Winter Auction and Raffle will go towards hospitality workers and their families who are currently struggling, with many facing an uncertain festive season.
The auction will be supported by Source Tradeshow which, back in the summer, hosted 200 exhibitors showcasing food, drink, equipment and other services a catering, hospitality, or food retail business may need.

Bristolian artist Ollie Gillard (Gage Graphics) was commissioned to create a large one-off piece for the trade show depicting the journey/food or drink takes from producer to consumer – it was finished live during the show.
Ollie’s piece (as seen in the main image) has now been donated by Source Tradeshow to the Hospitality Action Winter Auction’s massive collection. Visit the auction website to get bidding.
Bringing regional, artisan products to South Bristol and allowing producers to share their expertise with the city’s buyers, Source Tradeshow will return to Ashton Gate Stadium on Thursday 27 June 2023. Organised by Hale Events, the show provides a great opportunity to meet a wide selection of hospitality businesses all under one roof.
