David Walliams' Billionaire Boy is coming to Bath & West Showground this Easter

David Walliams' hit story will be coming to life on stages across the UK this Easter.

Bath & West Showground and Car Park Party have released details for their latest drive-in stage production, set to bring David Walliams' Billionaire Boy to their pop-up stage for two performances on Friday 16 April.

Following on from the success of their Horrible Histories: Horrible Christmas drive-in panto in December, the organisers have unveiled a nationwide tour for the eagerly-anticipated production, with 15 dates confirmed so far.

Tickets for the Bath show go on sale at 08:00 on Thursday 4 February - find out more and book yours here.

Based on the wildly popular kids' book, Billionaire Boy follows the story of Joe Spud, the richest 12-year-old in the country. He's got his own sports car, two pet crocodiles and £100,000 a week pocket money, but there's one thing he longs for: a friend.

In search for a companion, Joe leaves his posh school and joins the local comp, but things don't quite go as planned and life becomes a rollercoaster as he does his best to chase the one thing money can't buy.

Described as a "rollicking show with big belly laughs and a sweet heart" by The Times and "magnificent" by David Walliams himself, the drive-in production is an absolute must-see for families during this year's Easter holidays.

As well as the Bath & West Showground show on Friday 16 April, Billionaire Boy will be touching down in Birmingham, Manchester, Middlesbrough, Leeds, Newark, Northampton, Stoneleigh, Knebworth, Exeter, Newbury, Poole, Windsor and Bristol before closing at Cheltenham Racecourse.

Every event will be completely COVID-safe, with attendees asked to remain inside their own cars at all times. Click here for more information on the drive-in production or to book your tickets.
