A television presenter, multi-talented musician and composer: Jools Holland has many strings to his bow.
Originally a founding member of the band Squeeze, Jools later formed his Rhythm & Blues Orchestra; a 19-piece selection of vocalists, guitarists, wind instruments and more.
Jools leads the Orchestra, as a boogie-woogie pianist.
Since the Orchestra’s formation, they have played to audiences of more than 300,000 each year, in countries across the world.
When the new Bath date was announced, Jools commented:
“Since the age of seventeen, I have spent my entire life performing on tour. Therefore, it is with sadness and disappointment that myself, my orchestra and our special guests have been forced to postpone our Autumn & Winter shows."
"Due to the world pandemic the tour will take place in 2021, with special guest performers to be announced shortly."
He continued: "I apologise to everyone who was looking forward to seeing us, and I speak for my whole orchestra and crew, when I say we are all longing to return to the boogie playing field next year. I hope that all of you are alright."
