An annual celebration of the life and works of Scottish poet Robert Burns, Burns Night combines food, drink and music.
From informal ceilidhs – a gathering with music and dancing - to black-tie dinners, Burns Night is a chance to raise a glass (or ten) to the pre-eminent Scottish poet.

Bonkers Burns Night @ Widcombe Social Club
Widcombe Social Club are celebrating Burns Night with a twist this year, inviting Bath locals to enjoy a hearty three-course meal of Cullen Skink, Haggis, Neeps & Tatties and Cranachan before a full evening of entertainment.
The Improv All-Stars, featuring 'Whose Line Is It Anyway' stars Andy Smart, Steve Steen and Stephen Frost, will be providing some stellar Burns Night improv. Dress code is, as expected, tartan, and advance tickets are available now for just £2 per person. Get yours here.
Burns Night @ The Pump Room
The world-famous Roman Baths and Pump Room are hosting an unmissable night of true Scottish tradition for Burns Night this year.
Celebrating the life and work of Robert Burns, they'll be showcasing a night of poetry, music and Scottish dancing with a full four-course supper, including the crowning glory - the famous haggis! Spaces on the night are expected to run out in advance, so book yours here.
Burns Night Menu @ Browns Restaurant
Browns restaurant on Bath's Orange Grove have partnered with world-renowned whisky producer Glenfiddich to create a special Burns Night menu, pairing four traditional Scottish dishes with perfectly-paired whiskies.
The event will run at Browns from 24-27 January, but spaces are limited - reserve yours now via the Browns booking site.
Free Samples @ The Whisky Shop
Bath's dedicated Whisky Shop will be handing out free samples from 13:00-18:00 on Saturday 25 January, honouring the bard's birthday with some delicious varieties of the staple spirit.
Staff members will be on hand to make recommendations and talk you through each sample, and with free whisky on offer, who could say no?
