You’ve done some Christmas shopping, you’ve eaten a few mince pies - what’s next? Ice-skating seems like a good option.

 

Bath on Ice – the city’s beloved open-air ice rink – is back for 2019.

 

Situated in the beautiful surroundings of Royal Victoria Park, this year’s edition features 1000 square meters of ice, glow in the dark mini golf and a fully licensed bar.

Visit the Bath Christmas Markets 

 

After a slip and slide on the ice, visit the Bath Christmas Market, which is due to open at the end of November.

 

From 28 November, discover over 150 twinkling chalets on Bath’s Georgian streets filled with festive food, unique gifts and merry music.

See Love Actually – In Concert @ The Forum 

 

Is it a Christmas film? Is it not? Who cares. For many, Love Actually is a movie which has become synonymous with the festive season. And this Christmas, Bath has got the chance to experience the film like never before.

 

On 29 November, catch Love Actually live in concert; with a full orchestra who will perform Craig Armstrong’s enchanting score live, alongside a screening of the film. Get tickets here.

Sing carols @ Bath Abbey 

 

Enjoy carols, readings and candle-lighting at Bath Abbey this Christmas, as part of Dorothy House’s annual Services of Light.

 

Scheduled to take place on November 26, the Service of Light at Bath Abbey will kick off at 18:00, and everyone is welcome!
