The London Gospel Choir are coming to Bath

Established to help London’s African community to promote the gospel, to popularise African interpretations of gospel music, and to unite the very best of the city’s gospel singers and musicians, The London Gospel Choir’s sound has been described as “infectious US pop on a bed of southern African grooves,” by Songlines.

Not only have the Choir received acclaim from the press, they’ve earned praise from the likes of Annie Lennox, and Paul Simon himself. So, it’s only fitting that the Choir would choose to perform Graceland during the upcoming tour.

Paul Simon’s iconic rock and roll album Graceland has earned two Grammys, and worldwide acclaim since its 1980s release, and now, The London Gospel Choir are ready to make it their own.

Gearing up to perform the album in its entirety at The Forum in Bath, the Choir promise unforgettable arrangements of Paul Simon’s biggest hits, including ‘The Boy In The Bubble’, ‘Diamonds On The Soles Of Her Shoes,’ and ‘You Can Call Me Al.'
