The Bath Moonlight Walk is back! Taking place around Bath City Centre on Saturday 15th September, the walk is in support of local charity Dorothy House Hospice Care and is open to anyone - male or female - aged 14 or above! Early bird tickets have unfortunately run out, with standard tickets expected to follow - book yours now via the link below to avoid missing out!

The 2018 Bath Moonlight Walk will kick off at 10pm and take participants around the city centre area.

Walkers this year can enjoy a range of activities from 8.30pm until the beginning of the walk at 10pm, with great merchandise and refreshment stalls on site, entertainment, an exclusive raffle and a mass participation lesson in the art of the 'moonwalk', in keeping with this year's 1980s theme! Setting off from Southgate Shopping Centre, the route takes walkers through and around the main sights of the city, with the total distance covering 8km.

The 2018 Bath Moonlight Walk will again raise vital funds for local charity Dorothy House Hospice, a service that cares for over 3,000 patients, family members and carers throughout the year across Wiltshire, Somerset & Bath and North-East Somerset. Last year's walk raised an incredible £60,000 to go towards funding vital patient care - organisers are hoping to do even better this time around!

In another first, 2018 Bath Moonlight Walkers are in line to receive discount meal vouchers from three of Bath's favourite restaurants: Giraffe on Dorchester Street, Pizza Express on Southgate Place and Tapas Revolution on St Lawrence Street!

As early bird tickets have now run out, the standard entry fee is now applicable, costing £20 per person to enter. The standard fee is available until 9th September, with a late entry fee of £25 running from then until the day of the walk. However, registration fees only cover the cost of the event, so entrants are invidted to pledge a minimum of £40 in sponsorship or make a donation of their own, with the suggested amount also £40.

Speaking on the walk, Dorothy House Hospice Care's Events Fundraisers, Emily Knight, said "we're very excited to be including men in the Bath Moonlight Walk this year and we hope ladies will bring along their husbands, Dads, brothers and friends so we can raise even more funds for Dorothy House!"

Tickets for the 2018 Bath Moonlight Walk are still available and can be found here. For more information on the 2018 Bath Moonlight Walk or to find out more about the fantastic work of Dorothy House Hospice Care, visit the Hospice's website or check out their Facebook page.
