Sourpuss at The Egg, Theatre Royal in Bath on Saturday 16th June 2018Posted on: 14 Jun 2018
Enchanting family puppetry show Sourpuss will be performed at The Egg, Theatre Royal Bath on Saturday 16th June 2018.
A solo show by puppeteer Lori Hopkins (who has worked previously with Egg theatre favourites Polka, Bamboozle and Little Angel), it tells the story of Sourpuss - as the name suggests, a particularly grumpy ginger cat - who gets shut out of the house and has to find his way home.
Lost and confused but with the wonders of the garden to keep him busy, Sourpuss discovers the beautiful secrets of the great outdoors including the colourful flowers, a chirpy robin, some particularly whiffy rubbish and plenty of buzzing bees.
Performed with string and shadow puppets, this is bound to be a weekend highlight for, not only younger audiences, but their older counterparts as well.
There will be two performances, one at 11.30am and the other at 3pm. Tickets cost £8.50 for adults and £7.50 for children and can be purchased here.
