Rufus Wainwright announces Bath show as part of 2018 Summer Tour

US-Born singer-songwriter Rufus Wainwright has announced a string of 10 UK Summer shows for 2018, with stops in Nottingham, Leeds, Edingburgh, and most importantly, Bath. Wainwright will perform at The Forum on Thursday 28th June, with tickets on sale now and available here.

With one of the best back catalogues in modern music combined with an incredible voice and renowned between-song chat, Rufus Wainwright's Summer shows are not to be missed for UK fans. Playing the famous Forum, Wainwright's Bath show will be a real spectacle and any opportunity to attend certainly shouldn't be passed up. 

 

With the performance at The Forum falling around the mid-way point of the tour, Rufus Wainwright is also scheduled to play shows in Coventry, at Nottingham's Royal Concert Hall, Cambridge and Edinburgh among others.

 

Rufus has released eight studio albums to date, including the landmark 'Want One'. His classic album 'Rufus Does Judy', recorded at Carnegie Hall in 2006, was nominated for a Grammy. He has played UK shows in the past, performing at The Palladium in 2007 and the Royal Opera House in 2011, as well as premiering his opera, 'Prima Donna', at the Manchester International Festival in 2009.

 

Over the years Rufus has collaborated with the likes of Elton John, David Byrne, Boy George, Joni Mitchell, the Pet Shop Boys, Mark Ronson and many more. His most recent collaboration came in the form of the title track on Robbie Williams' latest album, Swings Both Ways, which was sung as a duet between the two and produced by renowned musician Guy Chambers.
