Bistrot Pierre

At the top of Milsom Street you'll find this popular relaxed fine dining restaurant. The quality of the food is second to none, but the prices are reasonable and affordable. Ingredients are sourced from local suppliers as well as artisan French suppliers, to bring you the best of the best.

That's what you'll find here at Bistro La Barrique with dishes such as lentils tagine, baked garlic snails with parsley crumbs or grilled scallops with chorizo, all cooked by the renowned chef Michel Lemoine. There's a great selection of vegetarian and gluten free meals and there are lots of wines waiting to be paired with your chosen dishes.

Brasserie Blanc

As the name suggests, famous chef Raymond Blanc owns this beautiful brasserie which has a homey feel. Raymond Blanc puts emphasis on seasonal ingredients and home cooked food like his Maman used to make. There's even a gluten or dairy free menu, but the fabulous seasonal à la carte menu offers dishes like cheese souffle, grilled rock lobster tail with chips and wild boar sirloin steak.

Chez Dominique has already won the Diner's Choice Award this year and is still quite new to the city. They bring modern French dining to Bath, with a view of Pulteney Weir from the private dining room. Dishes include wild sea bass with clams, tagliatelle with truffle oil and beetroot cured salmon.
