Gallagher Premiership rugby in Bath.

Bath Rugby is a professional Rugby Union side playing in England's top division, the Gallagher Premiership. Formed officially in 1865, Bath is one of the oldest rugby teams in the country.

Having secured a mid-table position in the 2018/19 Premiership campaign, finishing in sixth, Bath Rugby will be looking to push on in the upcoming 2019/20 season and challenge for a place among England's elite.

Local and Westcountry rivals Bristol Bears and Gloucester Rugby present stern tests for Bath this season, with their 2019/20 season opener falling against the former, an away fixture at Ashton Gate Stadium on 18th October.

Bath Rugby boast a decorated history and have tasted success several times over the years, winning the Premiership Rugby Cup, the Heineken Cup and the European Challenge Cup.

Bath play their home fixtures at The Recreation Ground, with one fixture a season scheduled to be played at England's home of rugby, Twickenham. Dubbed 'The Clash', the one-off fixture usually falls around Easter time.
